Test history and preferences

Your browser saves up to 300 completed test sessions on your device. Each session includes your five scores, the date and time, a session identifier, and basic test settings: whether you used a click/tap or the keyboard, and whether the test used the 3D or 2D display. We also save your light or dark theme preference in your browser.

This history uses local browser storage and is not synced across your devices. We do not upload the stored history as a separate database. Content visible on the page may be captured by the analytics tools described below. Anyone using the same browser profile on your device may be able to see your saved results.

The Share result button creates and downloads an image on your device. It does not publish your score or send it to us. If you share that image elsewhere, the service you choose handles it under its own privacy policy.

When you email us

If you contact support@reactiontests.org, we receive your email address, your name if included, and the message or attachments you send. We use these to reply, investigate problems, and handle your request. Our email service processes the messages needed to deliver that correspondence.

Website requests and cookies

Loading a page or file sends connection information to the services delivering the site. This can include your IP address, browser type, requested address, referring page, and the time of the request. Hosting and security services may keep logs to deliver content, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse. These requests do not include your locally saved test history.

The test uses local storage to remember your results and theme. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies and similar technologies as described below. Services protecting or delivering the site may also use cookies for security or operation.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, how they find the site, and which parts of the experience need improvement.

Google Analytics may receive page views, referring pages, site interactions, cookie identifiers, browser and device information, and approximate location. Its cookies can recognize a browser across visits. Google processes this information to provide reports about website use.

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site through heatmaps, interaction measurements, and session replays. These can capture page content, clicks, scrolling, and browser and device information, helping us find usability problems. Content displayed during a test or in your history may appear in a replay.

Clarity uses first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies. Microsoft collects or receives information through this service and may use it for analytics, security, and Microsoft Advertising, including personalized advertising. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Our analytics providers receive the information described above, including Microsoft’s advertising uses. Information may be processed by providers that host the site, deliver its files, protect it from abuse, or handle support emails. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud or a security incident.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. Links to research and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

How long information stays

Local history remains until you clear this site’s browser data, your browser removes it, or older sessions are replaced after the 300-session limit. Your theme preference remains until you change it or the stored data is cleared. Private browsing may remove these records when the private session ends.

We retain support correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any related follow-up, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Operational logs follow the retention settings of the services handling them. They are not a backup of your scores.

Analytics data is retained according to the settings and policies of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Clearing browser storage removes local records and cookies; it does not delete information already received by those providers.

Your choices and requests

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are enabled by default on the production site, including analytics cookies and session replays. Choose Reject analytics below to disable Google Analytics measurement and Clarity, although the Google tag itself may still download. Your choice is saved in this browser and respected on later visits. Open Privacy settings to change it. Turning analytics off reloads the page to stop session recording and clears accessible analytics cookies. It does not delete information already received by the providers.

To remove saved results and preferences, open your browser’s site-data settings, find reactiontests.org, and clear its stored data. This cannot be undone. The reset button in the test starts a fresh set; it does not erase your saved history.

You can block or clear cookies through your browser settings and use tracking protection to limit analytics requests. Google’s opt-out tool and Microsoft’s privacy choices are linked above. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from using the reaction test.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold, or to object to or restrict its use. Email support@reactiontests.org to make a request. We may need to verify that the information belongs to you. We cannot retrieve or delete scores stored only in your browser. You may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority.

Children’s privacy

ReactionTests is a general-audience site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review it and remove it as appropriate.
